The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change has introduced an important regulation aimed at enhancing quality and safety in the construction sector. According to the new regulation published in the Official Gazette dated June 4, 2025, issue number 32920, only certified craftsmen will be allowed to work on construction sites from now on.
Under the new rules, contractors and site supervisors responsible for construction and installation works will be required to work exclusively with craftsmen who hold valid authorization certificates. The employment of craftsmen without such certification is strictly prohibited.
